SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA click here services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place established for intervention ordeals a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
